Shops at Dakota Crossing

CSG Urban Partners in partnership with Fort Lincoln New Town Corporation, and Trammell Crow Company developed a vacant 43-acre site into the Shops at Dakota Crossing.  Located along the highly traveled Route 50 corridor in the Fort Lincoln neighborhood, the Center serves as an iconic gateway to the District of Columbia as well as its newest and most successful retail center.

The Shops at Dakota Crossing consists of 430,000 square feet of retail space, not only bringing a destination shopping venue to Northeast, DC, but drawing crowds from the entire District of Columbia metropolitan area. The project is anchored by several strong and diverse, national retailers including Costco, Lowes, Marshalls, Dicks Sporting Goods, PetSmart and Five Below.  An additional 50,000 square feet of retail space is occupied by small and mid-size shops, restaurants and local businesses including Visionworks, T-Mobile, Vitamin Shoppe, Starbucks, Panda Express, and the Transit Employees Federal Credit Union.

The Center includes neighborhood friendly design features, including a central, walk-able “Main Street”, pedestrian-friendly linkages to the surrounding residential developments, and several public plazas and open spaces with outdoor seating.
