CSG Urban Partners in partnership with Trammell Crow Company was selected by the District of Columbia Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development to develop a 221,000 square foot, mixed-use project containing a proposed hotel with ground floor retail in the NoMa neighborhood of Washington, DC. The project, located adjacent to the NoMa-Gallaudet U/New York Avenue Metro Station, is just one stop from Union Station. The location provides incredible access to the heart of the Nation's capital.
The development team undertook all of the pre-development and entitlement work for the project then ultimately sold the fully entitled site to Finvarb Development Company in partnership with Marriott Corporation to undertake the construction of a new Courtyard Marriott Hotel. The Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol hotel opened in 2009.
